Freud's Heavy-Duty Rip Blades give smooth and fast rips in hardwoods and softwoods. The combination of a rigid blade body and razor sharp flat top carbide teeth will provide a "glue line" precision cut.
Features:
  • Precision balanced and can be used in gang-rip operations
  • Ideal for working range 3/4 in. to 2-3/4 in. thick
  • Features a non-stick Perma-Shield coating that reduces friction and heat build-up for longer blade life
  • Laser cut anti-vibration slots drastically reduce vibration and sideways movement in the cut extending blade life and giving a crisp finish
  • Extra large flat tooth design leaves a smooth finish without the need for sanding or jointing
  • Recommended for ripping and crosscutting wood, cutting chip board, plywood and laminate

Nice solid blade
I have not done too much with this blade yet, but what I have already noticed is that it is a huge improvement from the blade that came with my table saw. Very smooth and easy cuts so far. I expect that it will hold its edge much longer than the stock blade.
