This refurbished saw works great and runs like new. I use it to cut small trees and bushes. Also good for cutting firewood. It uses 50:1 premix oil/gas just like all my other 2-cycle tools which is nice.

Love it!
A little tougher to start then my Still, but one it's running it cuts through trees like butter. Just do not force the citation. Let it bite and it will go through hard wood just fine.

Would buy this product again.
Will use it for medium size cuts around the place. It's replacing a 16" McCulloch. I expect this to be as good or better.
Encountered no problems putting on the bar and chain.
No problems starting it.
Have not yet had an occasion to use it.

Would not start
I have always used husqvarna. They are the best! I have never had an issue with any husqvarna in the past. My other saw is 455. I wanted something smaller for smaller projects. I knew I was buying a refurbished saw. But I figured it was factory certified. It never started. I only use husqvarna gas and bar chain oil. I found out the warranty is only 30 days long. It's in the repair shop now. Very disappointed.

Great saw once running
Great little saw once it's running. I tried pulling the plug (which was STUBBORN) and cleaning out the cyl and piston to get it to start, but had to take it to a local husq dealer. They told me it looked like it had been stored with bad gas and had to pull the carb and deep clean it. However it was covered under warranty. If it wasn't for the initial starting issues, I'd give this a 4 out of 5..... 5 out of 5 if it was a little cheaper.

Need to know if these chainsaws are 4 stroke 38cc model 967177104
Fuzzy on Feb 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The one I got was a new 2 stroke, works perfect, like mighty mouse compared
to poulan...a very good deal. you will need to add 2 stroke to the fuel, a
hassel ? not when you consider how much longer a 2 stroke will last
compared to 4 stroke, its just a way better more reliable engine, the 4
stroke has too much stuff that goes wrong, same with boat motors always get
the 2 stroke and disconnect the fuel mixer... happy cutting
