Freight Orders

Freight deliveries require a delivery time be scheduled and someone must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for the merchandise. A representative from the freight carrier will call the phone number entered at checkout to schedule the delivery.

Liftgate Service

For freight deliveries, you have the option of adding a liftgate to your delivery. A liftgate is the device that lowers a product from the truck to ground level.

CPO recommends adding liftgate service for freight deliveries exceeding 100 lbs if you do not have a loading dock or fork lift at the delivery address. Additional charges may apply. The liftgate option will be presented during the checkout process.

Please note that liftgate service only ensures the product is removed from the truck. We recommend you have the additional help of two to four people to move the product to its desired location because drivers are not required to assist.

Requesting liftgate service after ordering may result in additional charges and delays.

What is the warranty on the generac gp5500?
Lamike on Feb 16, 2014
Being that I never owned a generator before, and with the crazy weather that we have, I would like to know where I can put this generator during power outages, outside? and if this could run a small portable heater due to the fact that I have small animals that cannot be cold. Thank you
Mary on Nov 10, 2013
BEST ANSWER: When ANY generator is running, be it with gasoline, propane, or natural gas, the generator must be placed outdoors and should be at least 10 feet away from any doors or windows in the home or building, to avoid exhaust fumes from possibly entering the home or building. The generator may be placed under a carport or other covered structure with open sides. NEVER EVER operate a generator inside a garage, house, cellar or any enclosed area, even with the doors open.
The wattage output of your generator will determine how many or what size heaters you can operate with your particular generator. If you are not sure about the wattage output of your generator, or the wattage required to operate your heater(s), you should contact an electrician or other professional.
Is it a big deal that the unit isn't csa approved? What does it mean that it's not carb approved?
Mike on Jan 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This generator is not CARB compliant. CARB stands for; California Air Resources Board. California has higher standards on emissions that the rest of the country. If you do not live in California, you can use this generator.
