            Comments about Collated Screw Gun:

This is the best thing since sliced bread! I bought this to hang Sheetrock and now I find myself using this for more and more projects. It is easy to use once you get the concept of how the tool works. If you find yourself needing to hang more than 100+ sheets of drywall in your tenure then I strongly recommend. It is built strong it's heavy duty and feeding screws into the gun is quick and simple.
My only recommendation is to try it out in a corner of the room where no one will see to test the depth gauge and to get used to the tool. Remember the tool has to be perfectly level and you need to apply steady pressure until you hear/see it stop into the wall.
Again if it's a onetime use your better off with a more versatile screw gun but if you have multiple projects that need lots of screws this is it!

              Comments about Collated Screw Gun:

I've used similar, more expensive collated drywall guns in the past and was a little skeptical of such a low cost gun. even read poor reviews on other websites by customers. Took a chance and I love this gun. It works awesome, some people complained it wouldn't sink screws properly at an angle, well that's probably because you're not really supposed to fasten gypsum at an angle. bottom line, if you know what you're doing this is a great choice for increased speed hanging drywall

                  Comments about Collated Screw Gun:

Loading and usage are intuitive. Depth adjustment is easy.
Only fault, so far, is the bits are non-standard at 6.25 inches not normal 6.00.
Trying to find extra bits by numbers listed in the manual was difficult, had to resort to Ryobi numbers.

                  • Q:

Replacement bits for the Ridgid corded collated screw gun(model # R6791). Where is the best place to get them, and is there a compatible Senco part number that will work? From what I understand these screw guns are actually made by Senco. They probably built them with an oddball bit that only Ridgid sells.
