Will this battery work with a tool that normally takes an xrp battery?
Brad on Nov 26, 2012
BEST ANSWER: This battery works on Dewalt and other 18 volt tools.
what is the ah. and watts on this battery and is there adaptor to put 20v battery on 18v tools
griffn on Nov 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Griffin,

Wattage refers to the amount of electrical current an item draws but because this is a battery, wattage would not be used to measure its power consumption. You may be referring to the charger that requires electrical current to charge the battery (please clarify). This battery would be equipped with 2.6 ah to 3.0 ah. There are no adapters to convert 18v batteries to 20v batteries or vice versa.
will my 18 volt nicad charger work with this battery?
Pat on Sep 17, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Depending on your charger, but most of the DeWalt charges will charge both Lithium Ion or Ni-Cd batteries.
