  • Pressure Washer Pump Oil

    Q:

I own a Troy-Bilt pressure washer model 020240 which has a Briggs & Stratton engine and pump. The owners manual says to use Pump Saver # 6033. You show this is discontinued. So is oil # 6039 the same oil? What are the specs for these 2 products? Are they interchangeable?

      A:

These two products are different. Model # 6033 is synthetic oil for maximum pump life, which we do have available for $17.99, while model # 6039 is an anti-freeze and lubricant formula that protects the pistons and seals against damage during storage. We have that available for $9.99.
